Cops: Man Drove Stolen Car Through Toll Barrier, Hit Sign, Resisted Arrest

Cinnaminson Police captured Dennis Rolon in Philadelphia early Friday morning.

Cinnaminson Police eventually captured a Philadelphia man after they say he drove through a toll barrier on the Betsy Ross Bridge, hit a street sign in Philadelphia and physically resisted arrest on Friday.

Cinnaminson Police received a report of a stolen purple Honda Civic out of Willingboro around 12:14 a.m. An officer spotted the car heading south on Route 130 in Cinnaminson.

Dennis Rolon, 29, of Philadelphia, allegedly ignored the officer’s attempts to stop him. He continued driving south on Route 130, allegedly crossing the Betsy Ross Bridge after ramming a toll barrier.

Rolon allegedly continued onto Richmond Street in Philadelphia, where police say he struck a street sign.

He then allegedly left the car and ran on foot, ignoring the police officer’s commands to stop.

Rolon allegedly physically resisted arrest, but the officer and his K-9 partner were able to capture him.

Rolon was charged with possession of master keys, eluding, hindering apprehension, and receiving stolen property.

His bail was set at $50,000 full.

He was charged with numerous offenses in Philadelphia, and is awaiting extradition.
