Cinnaminson High School Baseball Team Advances to Playoff Semifinals
The Pirates will host No. 10 Manchester on Tuesday.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Mike Bednarek brought home the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the sixth-seeded Cinnaminson High School baseball team outlasted No. 14 Collingswood, 10-9, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on Thursday, according to nj.com.
Jake Perkins had four RBI for the Pirates, while Mike McAndrews had two RBI and scored three runs. Brandon Staub picked up the win on the mound, pitching two innings in relief.
Cinnaminson took a 7-0 lead after three innings, but the Panthers fought back, trailing 9-3 after four, and tying the game with four runs in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Andrew Phillips had RBI for Collingswood, and Kevin Walters had two.
Cinnaminson will host No. 10 Manchester, which upset No. 2 Haddonfield 4-1, in the semifinals on May 31.

The winner advances to the championship game, set for June 3.
Cinnaminson opened the playoffs with a 6-2 win over No. 11 Sterling.
