Cinnaminson High School Girls Basketball Team Advances to Playoff Semifinals
The boys basketball team fell in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

The Cinnaminson High School girls basketball team is two wins away from a South Jersey title.
The top-seeded Pirates advanced to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs with a 40-29 win over Lower Cape May, according to nj.com.
Cinnaminson will face No. 5 Haddonfield in the semifinals on Saturday, 2 p.m.

Marisa DiLeo led the way with 19 points for the Pirates, who have outscored their opponents 100-45 through the first two rounds of this year’s playoffs. Cinnaminson opened the playoffs with a 60-16 win over No. 16 Buena.
Fiona Flynn and Anne O’Malley each had six points in the win over Lower Cape May, followed by Maggie Ogden with three and Alex Kane, Maddie Parrish and Tori Robinson, with two points apiece.

The fifth-seeded Cinnaminson High School boys basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 51-48 loss to No. 4 Woodstown in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs.
Devon Taylor led the Pirates with 16 points, followed by Will Cabbler, who had 13.
The Pirates held a 10-point lead after the first quarter, but Woodstown seized the lead heading into halftime, 27-23. The game went back-and-forth from there, with Woodstown ultimately winning on a three-point play with 1.7 seconds left in the game, according to the report.
