Cinnaminson High School Softball Team Falls in Playoff Quarterfinals

The Pirates dropped a 6-0 decision to Governor Livingston after pulling off a first round upset.

Sara Beth Coyle went 2-for-3, but it wasn’t enough as the Cinnaminson High School softball team fell, 6-0, to Governor Livingston in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group II playoffs, according to nj.com.

Governor Livingston, the No. 5 seed, will host No. 8 Matawan in the semifinals.

Cinnaminson’s magical run came to an end after the 13th-seeded Pirates upset No. 4 Spotswood, 7-2, in the first round.

Cinnaminson finished the season with an overall record of 11-12, according to nj.com.
