CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Cinnaminson Library reopened this week, a little more than six months after it closed its doors to the public amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Cinnaminson, Bordentown, Pinelands, Pemberton and Riverton branches of the Burlington County Library System reopened on Monday, according to the library’s website. The main branch in Westampton previously reopened, and the Evesham and Maple Shade branches will reopen Oct. 5.

Cinnaminson residents are now able to safely browse through the library’s collections, pick up items on hold and check out materials on site. They also have access to public computers, for which appointments are suggested, but not required.

Curbside pickup remains an option for anyone who prefers not to come inside. Those who do come inside, as well as the library’s staff members, will have their temperatures taken, must wear masks and observe the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) social distancing guidelines.

Plexiglass has been installed at the circulation desk and hand sanitizer stations are set up in the library.

The Cinnaminson Library is closed on Sundays. It is open at reduced capacity as follows:

  • Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and
  • Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Customers should continue to use book drops to return items Monday through Saturday. Seating is only available to anyone who wants to use a computer, meeting rooms aren’t currently open and no programs are currently scheduled.
