Cinnaminson Schools Accept $22.89 Million Bid for Renovation Projects

Hessert Construction submitted the bid for the second phase of the project after previously rejecting bids that were too high.

The Cinnaminson Board of Education has accepted a $22.89 million bid from Hessert Construction Group to move ahead with a multimillion dollar project in the Cinnaminson School District that was approved by voters on Sept. 30, the Burlington County Times reports.

The bid was accepted last week after the district previously rejected all bids for the second phase of the project because they all exceeded what the district was willing to pay, according to the report.

They went back out to bid.

It includes new security vestibules at the elementary school and the intermediate school, replacement of the existing fire alarms at the middle school and various renovations at the high school.

There will also be a new gymnasium at the high school, which would seat 1,000 people, as well as six new tennis courts at the high school.
