Cinnaminson Woman, 90, Dies Of Coronavirus

The first batch of the coronavirus vaccine arrived in Burlington County this week. More than 550 people have died since the pandemic began.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A 90-year-old Cinnaminson woman has died after testing positive for the coronavirus, Burlington County officials announced.

She is the 32nd Cinnaminson resident who has died after testing positive for the virus. As of Friday morning, 726 Cinnaminson residents have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

Countywide, there have been 18,322 cases, 551 confirmed deaths and 58 probable deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.

On Thursday, the first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine arrived in Burlington County. Five employees at Deborah Heart and Lung Center received the vaccine simultaneously, nj.com reports.

The shipment arrived following a brief delay due to the nor’easter that hit the state on Wednesday. Deborah is one of 35 New Jersey hospitals that received the vaccination after the first six hospitals vaccinated employees on Tuesday. Other deaths in Cinnaminson have involved a 76-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, an 81-year-old woman, a 102-year-old woman, an 83-year-old man, a 65-year-old man, an 84-year-old woman, two 77-year-old women, a 74-year-old woman, a 91-year-old man, an 85-year-old man, two 82-year-old women, an 88-year-old man, a 75-year-old man, a 78-year-old man, an 87-year-old woman, an 83-year-old woman, a 71-year-old woman, an 89-year-old man, three 86-year-old men, a 75-year-old man, an 87-year-old man, a 74-year-old woman, an 89-year-old woman, a 90-year-old man, a 60-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman. Burlington County is actively engaged in contact tracing positive coronavirus cases. The focus is on close contacts, defined as closer than 6 feet for more than 10 minutes, household contacts and those that work in high risk settings such as healthcare workers and long term care facilities.
