The Cinnaminson High School wrestling team’s pursuit of its first state championship came to an end in the semifinal round over the weekend.
The Pirates fell to Paulsboro, 46-11, in the semifinals of the State Group I championship tournament on Sunday in Trenton, according to nj.com.
Cinnaminson’s wins came in the middle weights.

Pat Morton defeated Anthony King, 3-0, at 160 pounds.
At 170, Shaun Davila defeated Zach Richard by one point, 4-3.

Zack Sireci (182) scored a technical fall over Josh Bailey.
Cinnaminson finished the season with a record of 24-2, and captured its first sectional title this year when it defeated Point Pleasant Beach, 55-18, for the Central Jersey Group I title.
