MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A driver accused of a hit-and-run that killed a dog in Burlington County has been found. A pickup truck struck and killed the dog at about 2 p.m. Saturday on E Mill Street in Mount Holly, authorities said. Township police shared photos of the suspect vehicle a few hours later in hopes of identifying the driver. The driver has been found and charged. Police did not disclose their identity or the specific charges. "The collective effort of our community played a crucial role in bringing this case to a resolution," said the Mount Holly Township Police Department. "We deeply appreciate everyone who reached out with tips and information."
