The suspect has been located and charged, authorities said.

MOUNT HOLLY, NJ — A driver accused of a hit-and-run that killed a dog in Burlington County has been found.

A pickup truck struck and killed the dog at about 2 p.m. Saturday on E Mill Street in Mount Holly, authorities said. Township police shared photos of the suspect vehicle a few hours later in hopes of identifying the driver.

The driver has been found and charged. Police did not disclose their identity or the specific charges.
