Emergency Preparedness Training In Burlington County Sept. 21

All Burlington County residents are invited to attend an emergency preparedness event related to severe weather and flooding issues in Willingboro Township.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kennedy Center, 429 John F. Kennedy Way in Willingboro.

There will be presentations for issues such as storm-related information, mitigation procedures, insurance questions, power related information, citizen corps program, evacuation and shelter-in-place concepts.

Presentations will be done in the gymnasium that will be equipped with an extra-large screen, projector and wireless microphone. Several cots will be set up to allow citizens to see what they can expect at a shelter.
