Former Eagle Cris Carter To Discuss Addiction In Cinnaminson
Cris Carter will discuss overcoming addiction during a program at Cinnaminson High School Monday night.
CINNAMINSON, NJ - Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Cris Carter will speak about addiction in Cinnaminson next week.
Carter will participate in a discussion about addiction and support at Cinnaminson High School on Monday night, April 29, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The program is sponsored by Cinnaminson Cares.
Carter will join Thomas Byrne, of the Ambrosia Treatment Center, to provide support and information to help Cinnaminson residents combat the epidemic of addiction.

In his career, Carter played for the Eagles, the Minnesota Vikings and the Miami Dolphins. He is one of 14 players in NFL history with 1,000 or more receptions, but chemical dependency impacted his career.
“He will share his experiences with drug abuse and overcoming addiction in a program that has been called ‘magnetic, powerful and dynamic,’” the Cinnaminson Fire Department said in a Facebook post about the event.
