Haddonfield Girls Soccer Team Edges Cinnaminson To Win South Jersey Championship
Haddonfield won the championship, 1-0, on Friday.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- For the second time this season, the Cinnaminson High School girls soccer team saw a tournament run come to an end at the hands of Haddonfield.
Nic Green scored the winning goal in the second half as the second-seeded Bulldawgs defeated No. 1 seed Cinnaminson to win the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 championship on Friday, according to nj.com.
Green scored on a penalty kick. Goalie Maya Olimpio made eight saves.

Haddonfield (24-1) will face Central Jersey Group 2 champion Robbinsville (11-7-1) in the state semifinals at St. Augustine Prep on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5 p.m.
Parsippany Hills will face Mahwah in the other semifinal at Livingston High School.

Earlier this season, Haddonfield defeated Cinnaminson, 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association tournament.
The goal was the first goal scored against the Pirates in six games.
Cinnaminson defeated No. 16 Lower Cape May, 6-0, in the first round.
In the quarterfinals, the Pirates defeated No. 9 Oakcrest, 4-0.
Cinnaminson won its last two regular season games by shutout, and had a total of 16 shutouts this season, including a 0-0 tie to open the season.
The Pirates finished the season with a record of 19-3-1.
