Important Presentation on BEMER Device Takes Place on August 26
The BEMER Device Helped Flyers Hall of Fame Player Brian Propp Reclaim His Life After a Stroke
On September 3, 2015, while vacationing with his wife, Kris, and his two children in Annapolis, Maryland, Philadelphia Flyers alum and National Hockey League (NHL) Hall of Famer Brian Propp suffered a debilitating stroke that left him immobile and unable to speak or react. At age 57, Propp was a seemingly healthy, former pro-athlete who could no longer stand up. Despite having been hit countless times during his years playing professional hockey in the NHL, Propp never had any issues that sidelined him, so dealing with a stroke diagnosis was quite difficult, to say the least. Today, Propp is back on the ice and though he still has some weakness on one side and some lingering aphasia, he credits his astonishing recovery to his rehab hospital and to a device known as BEMER, recommended to him by Dr. Steven Rosenberg, Ph. D., a psychotherapist, specializing in sports performance and pain management, located in Elkins Park, PA.
Propp and Rosenberg will be hosting a presentation about the uses and benefits of BEMER on Sunday, August 26 at 11:15 AM in the Community Room of the 9600 Condominiums, Margate, NJ. Breakfast will be provided and there will be a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to Sophia’s Restaurant. Advance registration is required for admission, as space is limited. To register, call the 9600 Condominiums front desk at 609-822-9600.
The BEMER is an FDA approved device that is based on Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMFT). It works in the microvascular level (capillaries) where 75 percent of the body’s functions occur. The only instrument of its kind in existence, BEMER delivers many important benefits to users including significant improvements in: nutrition and oxygen supply to cells; cardiac function; sleep management; elimination of toxins; physical fitness and endurance; concentration; muscle stimulation; and stress reduction and relaxation.
The BEMER is the size of a tablet computer and utilizes applicators such as a full body applicator or spot applicators to deliver pulsed electromagnetic waves to the body areas in most need of this therapy. It has been proven in various studies to increase blood flow, which helps the body’s cells to receive necessary nutrients and remove waste products. BEMER improves overall health and wellbeing without the harmful side effects of many types of pharmaceuticals.
After his stroke, Propp looked for things that could help him. His fingers still don't work well, but he hopes to get better in time. He credits the BEMER with giving him tons of energy, helping him think more clearly, reducing the frequency of illness, and improving his sleep tremendously. With the increase in blood flow, Propp says he, “… feels great, is calm, relaxed and is very positive in life.” Propp continues, “I have been using my Bemer machine for 2 1/2 years, every day. I skate twice a week and don’t get winded, and with the attachments, if I get sore anywhere, I will use the attachments to help feel better quickly.” Propp says that other treatments he has tried, including a hyperbaric chamber, Watchman surgery and stem cell treatment, have not come close to the results he has experienced using the BEMER.
BEMER is currently used by thousands of elite athletes and former athletes of all levels and is also being used in thousands of hospitals and clinics in tandem with other traditional medical services. In addition, NASA has signed a joint collaboration agreement with BEMER to pursue applications in space! On June 14, the National Football League (NFL) Alumni Association announced a partnership with BEMER, USA to make BEMER technology available to its members.
BEMER can be beneficial for almost anyone to achieve: improved blood flow to and detoxification of organs and tissue; reduction of the consequences of stress; support in the healing of wounds and sports injuries; improved fitness and recovery from sports injuries; increased performance capacity and maximum training intensity for athletes; and shorter regenerative periods during sports training.
Dr. Rosenberg has dozens of clients who have benefited tremendously from using BEMER technology to treat a variety of ailments and conditions, but Propp’s results have been the most extraordinary, by far.
