'Independence Day' Double Feature at Regal Cinemas Thursday

Regal Cinemas in Moorestown and Burlington will present an “Independence Day” Double Feature to celebrate the release of “Independence Day: Resurgence,” the theater announced on Tuesday.

The Double Feature begins at 5 p.m. with a screening of the original film, followed by the first screening of the sequel at 8 p.m.

The Moorestown theater is located at the Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 and RPX, 400 Route 38 in Moorestown.

Regal Burlington Stadium 20 is located at 250 Bromley Boulevard in Burlington.

The synopsis of “Independence Day: Resurgence” is as follows:

“We always knew they were coming back. After ‘Independence Day’ redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.”

Other offers related to the release of the movie include:
