It's like one minute I was playing with wool… and the next I'd knitted myself a onesie.

And the next minute kitty is in the emergency animal hospital… or dead!!

Often times a photo depicts a kitty with a ball of yarn or string; however, YARN AND STRING ARE EXTREMELY UNSAFE FOR KITTIES… they pose a strangulation threat as well as becoming wrapped around their organs, necessitating emergency surgery, and often times being fatal! 

Yes, cats do love to play with things that move swiftly and writher across the floor quickly… but never, never, never allow your furry feline to play with this unsupervised, and always put it away in a cabinet or drawer when you are finished.   Believe it or not… some kitties do open cabinets and drawers… so use your judgment!  Below is a picture of MANGO, having opened the drawer to find the toy he wished to play with!!!  : ) 

There are many other safe kitty toys to provide stimulation… and there are also many kitty toys which also require your participation for safe play, so be very cautious when deciding which toys may be left on the floor or within reach of your furry baby in your absence!!!
