CINNAMINSON, NJ — The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Cinnaminson, including the closure of schools and many businesses.
After one new case was reported on Wednesday, Cinnaminson now has 74 cases of the coronavirus, with two fatalities, according to numbers provided by county officials.
Countywide, there are 3,167 positive cases with 181 deaths. Sixty-six new cases and 12 new deaths were reported on Wednesday. Trace investigations are underway in all new cases.

As of Wednesday, 1,513 additional cases of the coronavirus were reported statewide. There were also 308 additional deaths. The update comes as the total number of cases rose to 131,390 in New Jersey, and 8,549 have died. New Jersey's stay-at-home order will remain in place, likely for at least another month. On Wednesday, New Jersey reported that it never know exactly how many people have actually died because of the coronavirus. That's because the two explicit resources for that information — the state Department of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — show that the data may have been underreported by significant margins. SCHOOLS
All schools in New Jersey will remain closed for the rest of the academic year in response to the new coronavirus outbreak, state officials said. In Cinnaminson, that meansremote learning will continue through June 11.
TRASH PICKUP

PARKS REOPEN
All parks in Cinnaminson have reopened for walking and exercise only following Gov. Phil Murphy's announcement that all state parks and golf courses will be permitted to reopen, but playgrounds and all other municipal park amenities remain closed.
TAX GRACE PERIOD EXTENDED
Cinnaminson has extended the grace period for property taxes that were due May 1, from May 11 to June 1.
