Lottery Ticket Worth Nearly $300,000 Sold in South Jersey

A $291,814 Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket was sold at Cherry Hill Exxon on Route 70 on Monday, the New Jersey Lottery said Tuesday morning.

It was the only ticket sold in South Jersey that matched all five winning numbers: 06, 30, 31, 36, 37.

“We are pleased that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Cherry Hill Exxon,” New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Hedinger said. “For selling this ticket,the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the veryfortunate lottery winner.”

The buyer was not identified.

Another 2,818 players won $90,617 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly pickingfour numbers, 69 players won cash prizes of $636 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 2,749 players won $17 each.

The next drawing takes place on Tuesday, with an estimated jackpot of $75,000.
