South Jersey Man Was Shot in the Street in Willingboro

A man who was shot and killed Saturday night following a disturbance at a party in Willingboro was shot in the street in front of the home rather than the backyard, Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi clarified on Monday.

It was previously reported that the unidentified man in his 40s was shot once in the chest in the backyard of a home on Placid Lane around 10 p.m. Saturday night.

The man was pronounced dead at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County.

The incident remains under investigation, and no arrests had been made as of Monday morning.
