MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A man was sentenced to 90 years in prison Friday for killing and robbing a victim in a Mount Laurel Hotel room.

Four years ago, Jawaad Ali and two others lured Samer Alhalayqa to the Fairfield Inn on Century Parkway for a robbery. The trio suffocated Alhalayqa in a third-floor room and dragged him into the hallway.

Ali, 33, of Lindenwold, and his co-defendants — Asia Boone and Anthony Sermond-Guyton — used the victim's card to withdraw money from a nearby ATM, order items off Amazon and get Papa John's pizza.
