NJ Woman Who Paid Keith Urban's Tab Inspires MasterCard
MasterCard made Ruth Reed an offer after she paid Keith Urban's tab during a Wawa run in Medford last week.

MEDFORD, NJ — A substitute teacher who helped country music star Keith Urban pay his way when he was in South Jersey is now being offered a donation of her own.
Ruth Reed gave Urban money when she overheard him asking a woman he was with for some cash while at a Wawa in Medford last week. He was making a Wawa run while in town for a performance in Camden that night.
She didn’t know it was Urban until after she made the offer, but now it appears the whole world knows who she is, and MasterCard wants to make a donation to her.

Reed has also inspired others to engage in random acts of kindness.
“I read this story this morning & was inspired,” one woman wrote in response to MasterCard’s offer. “So, tonight, I chose to pay for an elderly woman’s dinner at Safeway when they were telling her they couldn’t take her check without a current photo ID. It felt great to help. Ruth Reed, you’re my hero!”

My favorite story of the day is how my 3rd grade teacher thought @KeithUrban was down on his luck and couldn’t pay for his wawa snacks so she bought them for him. What an angel. pic.twitter.com/mJccVOQWtp
