Matawan Knights Spread Love to H.A.M. Members

Matawan Knights of Columbus held a Valentine's Dance for H.A.M. (Hazlet, Holmdel, Aberdeen, Matawan) Therapeutic Recreation Program

Matawan NJ – For the second consecutive year, the Matawan Knights of Columbus Council #5324 held a Valentine’s dance for members of H.A.M. (Hazlet, Holmdel, Aberdeen, Matawan) Therapeutic Recreation Program. The event was held Sunday afternoon, February 22 at the St. Clement Church Annex where the Knights host their meetings.

The Knights of Columbus provided the deejay entertainment as the dance floor was constantly filled with H.A.M. members enjoying the festivities.

The Knights and their wives helped serve the special Valentine’s meal that was graciously donated by Whole Foods of Marlboro along with Livoti’s Old World Market and DeMarco’s Catering & Gourmet Deli.

Founded in 1980, the H.A.M. Therapeutic Recreation Program provides a variety of educational and social activities for developmentally disabled residents of the four towns including bowling, exercise class, dance classes, arts & crafts, movies, cooking classes and a six week traveling summer day camp.
