McCarthy, Brauckmann to Run Unopposed in Republican Primary

Cinnaminson Mayor John McCarthy and Committee Member Don Brauckmann will run unopposed in this year’s Republican Primary.

No Democrats filed petitions for this year’s primary by Monday’s cutoff date to file.

McCarthy was appointed mayor at this year’s reorganization meeting. He was first elected to committee in 2012 and served as Deputy Mayor in 2014.

They are running for two three-year seats.

The Republican Primary will be held June 2. That is also the deadline for candidates to file an independent petition to run in this year’s General Elections on Nov. 3.
