Mosquito Spraying In Cinnaminson Wednesday Night
Trucks will be spraying Zenivex in Cinnaminson Wednesday night, Sept. 18.
CINNAMINSON, NJ — The Burlington County Mosquito Control Commission will spray for mosquitoes in Cinnaminson Wednesday night. Trucks will drive through the area spraying Zenivex at 1 to 2 ounces per acre to control the adult mosquito population, according to officials. Spraying will take place from 7:30 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday, Sept. 18.
The active ingredient in Zenivex is etofenprox, which presents a low toxicity to birds and dried foliar residues are not harmful to honeybees, according to centralmosquitocontrol.com. Etofenprox is considered reduced risk by the Environmental Protection Agency. A map of the area that will be sprayed in Cinnaminson can be seen on the county website.
