Mother, Daughter Shot Dead Inside Their Burlington Co. Home
One or multiple intruders broke in through a window, but authorities don't believe it was a random attack.
WILLINGBORO, NJ — A mother and daughter were fatally shot early Wednesday morning in their Willingboro home.
One or multiple intruders broke in through the first-floor window and killed Catherine Nunez, 33, and her mother, Marisol Nunez, 54, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office (BCPO).
No arrests have been made as of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. But authorities don't think it was a random incident.

"As such, law enforcement officials do not believe that other residents in the neighborhood are in jeopardy," the BCPO said in a statement.
Police were called just after 4 a.m. Wednesday about a reported burglary in progress on the first block of Harrington Circle. They found Catherine and Marisol Nunez dead when they arrived.

The first-floor window was broken.
