Mysterious Booms Continue to Puzzle Central Jersey Residents
The most recent in a series of booms was reported Monday night.

The latest in a series of mysterious earth-shaking booms that has rocked Central Jersey hit Bordentown in Burlington County on Monday around 10 p.m., nj.com reports.
The booms, described as “earth shaking,” also hit Bordentown on March 17 and 19, and have also been reported in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, according to the report.
However, no one seems to know what to make of it.

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst told nj.com they weren’t responsible for the booms, and Bordentown City Police didn’t take any calls on the incidents.
Typically, military operations have been known to cause similar disruptions in New Jersey.

However, there were booms that went unresolved in Manchester, Ocean County and in Atlantic County in 2012.
