Nichols Family TBI Walk Postponed

The inaugural Nichols Family TBI Walk scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The walk is now scheduled for April 25 at Memorial Park.
The walk will be held in memory of Jeff Nichols, who fell and hit his head on Sept. 29, 2013.

The family stayed by his side for the next seven months, but on April 8, 2014, Nichols succumbed to his injuries.
He is survived by his wife and three children.

His daughter, Lily, applied for the the reality show Chopped on the Food Network. The show pits four chefs against each other for $10,000, which Lily Nichols hoped would help bring her father home.
Lily Nichols won the competition and $10,000 on the episode, which aired on Sept. 30 of last year.
On Monday night, Cinnaminson Committee proclaimed March as TBI Awareness Month, and March 18 as TBI Awareness Day. The proclamation was presented to Lily Nichols.
The cost to participate in the walk is $8 for adults and $3 for children. Shirts are $5.
