Palmyra Considers Forum On Recreational Marijuana: Report
A forum on the legalization of marijuana and its impact on local towns may take place in February, the Burlington County Times reports.

PALMYRA, NJ - An informational forum on marijuana legalization and its impact on local towns is reportedly in the works.
Palmyra officials are considering holding a forum on the issue at its community center in February, the Burlington County Times reports. A variety of people would be invited to speak, similar to a forum Palmyra Mayor Michelle Arnold said she recently attended.
The "Marijuana Legalization Act" would allow users 21 years old and up to possess up to an ounce of pot. It has passed through both the state senate and assembly, but it’s unclear when it might become law, if at all.

In December, Cinnaminson Township Committee delayed a vote on whether to prohibit the operation of marijuana retailers in the township. It is believed to be the first municipality in Burlington County to consider such a ban.
