Primary Elections 2019: Who's On The Ballot In Cinnaminson?

Primary elections will be held on Tuesday, June 4.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Tuesday, June 4 is Primary Day in New Jersey, although there are no contested primaries in Cinnaminson. It is also the deadline to file a petition to run as a third-party candidate in November’s general elections. Those petitions must be filed by 4 p.m.

Locally, Republican Stephanie Kravil is running for re-election to Township Committee. While there is no opposition for her in Tuesday’s primary, there will be a contested general election in Cinnaminson for the first time in nine years.

Democrat Lisa Killion-Smith is running unopposed on Tuesday, and will challenge Kravil for her seat in November.

In the State Assembly, Herb Conaway and Carol Murphy are running for re-election. They are unopposed in the Democratic Primary. Peter H. Miller is the only Republican seeking the party nomination in the assembly race.

Democrat Anthony Basantis and Republican Michael Ditzel are both running unopposed in their primaries as they pursue the sheriff’s office seat.

Incumbent Republican Latham Tiver is running for re-election to the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Democrat Linda Hynes looks to challenge him in the fall.

In January, Daniel J. O’Connell was appointed to fill the unexpired freeholder term of George Youngkin, who resigned immediately after being elected last year amid allegations of domestic abuse.

O’Connell will run in a special election in the fall, where he looks to be challenged by Republican Lee Schneider.
