PROPER PLACEMENT OF A PET FIRE SAFETY DECAL ON YOUR DOOR OR WINDOW…

Hello, Patch Pet Lovers!

In a previous post I showed a photograph depicting the improper placement of a fire safety decal…  

Please follow my suggestions below for the CORRECT placement:

• BE SURE THE FIRE SAFETY DECAL IS IN PLAIN VISIBLE SIGHT FOR FIRST RESPONDERS TO SEE FROM THE STREET THE MOMENT THEY ARRIVE!!!  

• Check to see if visibility of the decal is not obstructed by the following:  Trees, shrubs, flags, vehicles parked, fencing, ornaments, security signs, plants, awnings, HOLIDAY DECORATIONS… by absolutely NOTHING, or it serves no purpose!  

• Place the decal high enough so your pets and children cannot reach it, to avoid it getting scratched and/or picked off.  

• The best place for the decal is high up on the front door, but also place one on a rear window and side window if you have a corner property.
