RCBC Grad From Cinnaminson Set For Workforce Development Panel

Rachel Rollins went on to work all over the world with GlaxoSmith Kline.

CINNAMINSON, NJ - A Cinnaminson woman who went on to work with a major international company will return to Rowan College at Burlington County for the college’s career night next week.

After graduating from Rowan College at Burlington County in 2014, Rachel Rollins continued onto Rutgers University in New Brunswick to receive her degree in Supply Chain Management, according to college officials.

She went on to earn a position as a Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, where she was able to gain professional experience throughout the world in places like London, Italy and Australia.

Rollins will be on the panel for Rowan College at Burlington County’s Workforce Development Institute’s Supply Chain Career Night on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Mount Laurel Campus, in Evans Hall, Room 219.

“I am a big proponent of community college as a gateway to a successful career. RCBC gave me the opportunity to succeed by providing an affordable education and flexible classes so I could work full time while completing my studies,” Rollins said.

She looks forward to the career night because she wants to inspire others to continue through a four-year school and to know the value of their experience when they get into the workforce.
She suggests that students get as much intern experience as they can and that they stay up to date on digital and automation trends.
