Relay for Life of River Towns Raises Almost $70,000 for American Cancer Society
The event was June 4 at Delran High School.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- Relay for Life of River Towns raised $69,038.09 for the American Cancer Society with its event at Delran High School on June 4.
“Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our event,” organizers wrote on the event page. “We are so thankful to have the support of the River Towns community.”
They also remind everyone that fundraising efforts will continue through Aug. 31.

Relay for Life is an overnight community experience where teams of friends, family and neighbors walk a track to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease and join together to fight back.
The top participants were Jeannie Klein, who raised $5,905.07; Peggy Cosette-Bauer, who raised $5,100; and Elizabeth Jewell, who raised $2,370.

The top team was Millbridge Militia, which raised $11,789, followed by The Ladies of the 50’s With the Cure Believers, which raised $8,361, and Lourdes Health System, which raised $5,162.
A total of 50 teams and 507 individuals participated in the event.
