Relay For Life mobilizes communities throughout the country to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and provide participants with an opportunity to fight back against cancer.
Over 1,000 participants are involved in the celebration, which will host live entertainment, children’s’ activities, theme laps and contests to keep the momentum up.
At nightfall, hundreds of Luminaria candles will be lit around the track in a ceremony to honor cancer survivors as well as friends and family members lost to this dreaded disease.
The money raised goes directly to research, education, advocacy and support.
