Rowan College at Burlington County Hosts Arts Party Saturday
The party highlight's the college's new arts and cultural offerings.

Burlington County residents are invited to celebrate the new arts and cultural offerings at Rowan College at Burlington County’s Mount Holly Campus this weekend. The Arts Party, held in conjunction with Mount Holly’s 15th annual Car Show, is set for Saturday, Oct. 21, noon to 4 p.m. It is free and open to the community.
The college recently moved its fine arts studio, graphic design and fashion design programs to the Mount Holly Campus to join culinary arts and create a cultural hub for the community, college officials said.
“The new offerings at RCBC’s Mount Holly Campus have brought a new cultural experience to a vibrant downtown community,” Burlington County Freeholder Linda Hughes, county liaison to the college, said. “The RCBC Arts Party and Car Show is a great opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate what makes Mount Holly a great place to live, learn, work and play.”

The party will include tours of the Mount Holly Campus, family-friendly hands-on activities and barbecue lunches sold by the college’s culinary arts program.
“Rowan College at Burlington County’s transformation in Mount Holly increases the college’s presence in the community, while adding to the cultural landscape of the town,” Rowan College at Burlington County Acting President Michael Cioce said. “We are excited to see more students utilizing the campus and look forward to them becoming more involved in the community.”

The Mount Holly Campus is located at 1 High Street, a block away from the Mill Race Village shops. It inhabits a former bank building and offers an historic charm with stained glass windows, high ceilings and old vaults. To RSVP for the Arts Party, visit rcbc.edu/celebration.
