Semi-Pro Wrestler From Palmyra Charged With Armed Robbery, Carjacking

Donald Hart was captured last Tuesday.

A man suspected of robbing a Rite Aid and carjacking a priest in Haddonfield has been arrested, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Haddonfield Police Chief Ted Stuessy said on Wednesday.

Donald Hart, a 27-year-old semi-professional wrestler with addresses in Mantua and Palmyra and goes by the ring name “Reckless” Donnie Hart, was charged with robbery, carjacking, aggravated assault and weapons offenses after he was captured at a convenience store in Cherry Hill on Tuesday around 3 p.m.

He is being held in Camden County Jail on $315,000 bail.

Hart is accused of an armed robbery at the Rite Aid on 715 Haddon Avenue last month.

He allegedly entered the pharmacy around 12:10 p.m., jumped over the counter and threatened the employee with a handgun, demanding Adderall and oxycodone.

He escaped with an unknown amount of Adderall into the parking lot where he allegedly pulled a priest out of a parked car and stole the car.

He then abandoned the stolen car within one block and continued to flee the area.

Detectives processed the vehicle and recovered physical evidence that was submitted to the New Jersey State Police forensic lab.

The lab’s Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) returned a positive match for Hart, police said.

“The investigation done by my office’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene Investigation units and Haddonfield Police was thorough and relentless,” Colalillo said. “The arrest of this suspect was only made possible through the exhaustive efforts of these fine detectives.”

He may have also been involved in the armed robbery of a Rite Aid in Logan and a CVS in Woolwich, but charges have not yet been filed in those incidents.
