Suspect Robbed Haddonfield Rite Aid, Carjacked Priest: Cops
Detectives believe the suspect was also involved in a similar robbery in Gloucester County.

Haddonfield Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly committed an armed robbery at at Rite Aid on 715 Haddon Avenue before carjacking a priest on Tuesday.
Two schools were placed under a lockout while Haddonfield Police and surrounding law enforcement agencies conducted the investigation. The schools placed on lockout were Tatem School and Christ the King.
The suspect allegedly allegedly entered the pharmacy around 12:10 p.m., jumped over the counter and threatened the employee with a handgun, demanding Adderall and oxycodone.

He escaped with an unknown amount of Adderall into the parking lot where he allegedly pulled a priest out of a parked car and stole the car.
The suspect allegedly abandoned the stolen car within one block and continued to flee the area.

The Camden County Sherriff’s K-9 unit was involved in the ensuing search, but the suspect was not found.
The suspect is described as a white man who stands approximately 6’0’’ tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a long yellow rain jacket, yellow reflective vest, hooded sweatshirt, black mask and white hardhat. The suspect was carrying an orange traffic cone during the robbery.
Before the robbery, the suspect was allegedly seen measuring trees ear the store as well as the outside of the Rite Aid building with a tape measure.
Detectives believe this may be the same suspect who previously robbed a Rite Aid in Logan Township, Gloucester County.
A surveillance photo previously released in the Logan Township incident shows a suspect dressed in similar attire.
Video surveillance from the Haddonfield store is not available Tuesday night.
Haddonfield Police Detectives and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are conducting the investigation.

The incident comes one day after a similar armed robbery of a Rite Aid in Gloucester Township. The suspect in that incident also allegedly used a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of prescription medication.
The suspect in that incident is described as a thin built white male with razor stubble, wearing a grey shirt and a baseball cap.
