Six Injured in Turnpike Accident Involving Military Humvee

Four soldiers and two civilians were injured in an accident that involved a military humvee on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend.
The driver of the humvee was airlifted to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton with serious spinal and internal injuries, according to nj.com.
There were no other life-threatening injuries. State Police had no update on the investigation Monday morning.

The humvee was among a convoy of 12 vehicles travelling from Fort Drum in New York to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Burlington County, according to NBC 10.
The humvee left the road and hit a tree after being hit from behind the Nissan, which was attempting to switch lanes, according to reports.
