Like many other high school graduates, Mitchell Biderberg chose to go to a four-year college after high school. The Cherry Hill High School East graduate enrolled in Virginia Tech’s engineering program. After one semester, he realized he came home after deciding engineering was not the right path for him.

“I figured, why spend all that money at Virginia Tech when I don’t know what I want to do,” Biderberg said in a release from Rowan College at Burlington County. “I spoke to some friends who go to RCBC and that felt like a good choice for me while I figure out what I want to do.”

In the spring, Biderberg enrolled at Rowan College at Burlington County as a graphic design major. He ultimately hopes to obtain a masters degree in human-computer interaction at the University of Maryland after he graduates from Rowan College at Burlington County.

Biderberg and some friends from Virginia Tech and Purdue began a startup company in January. They are working on a website that will assist students from China acclimate to life in the United States and assist with the miscommunications that often happen.
