South Jersey Man Indicted In Wife's Fatal Stabbing
He is also accused of attacking her with a hammer earlier this year.

A Burlington County man has been indicted for fatally stabbing his wife as she screamed for help in their home earlier this year, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced.
Kenneth D. Arsenault, 59, of Pemberton, was indicted on one count of murder in the first-degree, two counts of third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and two counts of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, when police were called to the Cochita Trail home on a report of a woman screaming for help. Upon arrival, Pemberton Township police officers found Arsenault on top of his wife on the ground outside their residence, according to the prosecutor’s office.

In addition to stabbing her, Arsenault also attacked her with a hammer, the prosecutor’s office said.
He was taken into custody, and Lorraine Arsenault, 61, was transported to the Lourdes Emergency Department at Deborah in Browns Mills, where she was pronounced dead just before 11 p.m., according to the prosecutor’s office.
