South Jersey Man Stabbed Wife To Death As She Screamed For Help
Police found the man on top of his wife on the ground outside their residence, authorities said.

A New Jersey man attacked and fatally stabbed his wife last this weekend at their home as she screamed for help, according to authorities.
Kenneth D. Arsenault, 59, of the Browns Mills section of Pemberton Township, was charged with murder, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. on Saturday, when police were called to the Cochita Trail home on a report of a woman screaming for help. Upon arrival, Pemberton Township police officers found Arsenault on top of his wife on the ground outside their residence, according to the BCPO.

He was taken into custody, and Lorraine Arsenault, 61, was transported to the Lourdes Emergency Department at Deborah in Browns Mills, where she was pronounced dead just before 11 p.m., according to the BCPO
The motive for the attack is under investigation. Kenneth Arsenault was lodged in the Burlington County Jail pending a first appearance in Superior Court in Mount Holly.

The investigation is being conducted by the Pemberton Township Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office. The lead investigators are Pemberton Township Detective Jonathan Glass and BCPO Detective Tom LaRosa.
