For the third time in two weeks, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) has arrested a man for attempting to meet with a teenage girl for sex, authorities said.
Curtis Woods, 27, of Voorhees, was arrested when he went to meet with what he believed to be a 14-year-old girl he was sending sexually explicit messages to online on March 2. However, he had actually been chatting with an undercover detective.
Woods was charged with second-degree luring, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Runnemede Police Chief Paul Dailey. He was also charged with attempted criminal sexual assault, attempt to endanger the welfare of a child and attempted criminal sexual contact.
