Two Stretches of Route 130 Among the Most Dangerous in New Jersey: Report

It occupied two spots on the list posted by nj.com on Friday.

No single stretch of road is the most dangerous, but Route 130 made nj.com’s list of 10 Most Dangerous Highway Spots in New Jersey, published on Friday. The list was compiled using 2014 crash statistics provided by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Route 130 from Route 38 to Myrtle Avenue was ranked No. 10, with 136 crashes. Route 130 from New Albany Road to Rancocas Creek, between Delran and Delanco, was No. 8 with 143 crashes.

Route 22 from Jefferson Avenue to Madison Avenue in Union Township topped the list with 246 crashes.

For five years running, the nonprofit Tri-State Transportation Campaign named Route 130 the Most Dangerous Road in New Jersey for pedestrians.
