Capt. Sarah Crudd earned the Army's Expert Field Medical Badge by completing the run in the Fort Dix portion of the base.

The final moments of Capt. Sarah Cudd’s 12-mile run at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst was captured on a video that is going viral.

It was the last event Cudd had to complete to earn the Army’s Expert Field Medical Badge, according to the Washington Post. She joined the less than 25 percent of those who pursue the badge to earn it.

Fully decked out with her gear on her back and gun in hand, Cudd struggled to get to the finish line. About 30 seconds into the video, she collapses and it appears as though she won’t recover.
