On Thursday, the library will discussthe book Our Kids: Building Relationships in the Classroom by Chris Bowen, who will join the discussion via SKYPE. Bowen is an award winning teacher in the Los Angeles County school system, a featured guest on the Dr. Phil show, and a former Cinnaminson resident who draws on and parodies his Cinnaminson past in his blogs, the most recent of which is The Middle School Monologues. The book is a series of short inspirational stories that sensitively portray the bond between teacher and student.
