The scholarships are good for incoming seventh graders through their last two years at the school.

Westfield Friends School is now offering merit based scholarships for incoming seventh grade students to cover tuition through their last two years at the school.

Westfield Friends is an independent pre-K through eighth grade Quaker Day school based in Cinnaminson.

Students who are interested in applying for the Merit Scholarship should follow the following steps:

* Submit an application at www.westfieldfriends.org or contact the school’s office;

* Submit report cards from the last two years;

* Submit any standardized testing available;

* List at least two references;

* Submit an essay (500 words or less) written by the student, titled “My ambitions and how this merit scholarship will help me to attain my goals;” and

* Come for an interview and a tour of the school.

Applications are due by May 22.
