Woman Stole Jewelry From Home Where She Was Staying, Sold It Online: Prosecutor

Police are asking for the public's help in finding Tara Ramer.

Tara N. Ramer, 27, of Woodstown is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on Sept. 5, 2017, for a post-indictment arraignment on a charge of receiving stolen property. She is 5’4,” 130 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. Her image is attached to this post.

Remar is accused of stealing jewelry and clothes from a home she was staying at earlier this year. The homeowner discovered the items missing after she moved out on April 26, 2017, and discovered a missing necklace for sale on Craigslist.

A Washington Township police officer posed as a buyer and met the seller, who was turned out to be Ramer, police said. She was arrested on May 15. Ramer was indicted by a Gloucester County grand jury on Aug. 16 on a charge of third-degree receiving stolen property.
