The South Essex Fire Department relied on mutual aid from several nearby towns, underscoring how Orange crews are regularly called to major incidents across the area.
• Orange NJ Man Charged After Pocketknife Thrown During Altercation at American Dream (rlsmedia.com) — An Orange resident was arrested after an altercation at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford where police say a pocketknife was thrown, causing minor injuries. State Police charged the 36-year-old man from Orange with aggravated assault and related offenses, and he is now being held in Bergen County Jail while the investigation continues.
