3 Wanted For Vandalizing Caitlin Nelson Park: Clark Police

Clark Police released surveillance images of two men and a woman who were at the park on Sunday night.

CLARK, NJ — The Clark Police is asking for the public's help to find three people wanted for vandalizing Caitlin Nelson Park on Sunday night.

Police released surveillance images of two men and a woman who were at the park from 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18 to 1 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, Clark Police said.

The three entered and left through the front Horseshoe driveway on Westfield Avenue and reportedly put graffiti on the playground equipment at the park located next to town hall, police said.

The playground was built in honor of Caitlin Nelson, 20, of Clark who tragically choked to death following a pancake-eating contest on campus at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. last year. (See Related: Clark Woman Chokes To Death During Eating Contest At College)

Nelson is also the daughter of the 9/11 Port Authority victim James Nelson, whom the James Nelson Memorial Park is named after in Clark.
