Clark-Garwood Primary Election Candidates 2020: Who's Running

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — The deadline for candidates to file petitions to run in the 2020 primary election was Monday. Here are the candidates that filed in Clark and Garwood:

There are three At-Large Council seats up for election in Clark.

Clark

Mayor

• Democrat - None
• Republican - Salvatore F. Bonaccorso (Incumbent)

Township Council

• Democrat - Natalie M. Bassinski
• Democrat - Charles R. Bassinski
• Democrat - John Victor Jacobson
• Republican - Angel Albanese (Incumbent)
• Republican - Bill Smith (Incumbent)
• Republican - Jimmy Minniti

There are two council seats up for election in Garwood.

Garwood

Borough Council

• Democrat - Russ Graham (Incumbent)
• Democrat - Vincent Kearny
• Republican - Jesse Wilson
• Republican - Joseph Nicastro
• Republican - Richard McCormack (Incumbent)
• Republican - Anthony Goodell

The candidates are all running for their party's nomination on June 2 and then will move on to the general election on Nov. 3.
