Clark town counsel receive illegal benefits, costing tax payers !
Clark town officials exploit the system

In one of the costliest examples, Clark Township Council President William Smith and Councilman Steven Hund received benefits for years, totaling more than $522,000 in premiums, according to township records, though officials now acknowledge they were ineligible. Hund accepted coverage even as he worked as a vice president at an insurance company that sells health plans.
Neither Hund nor Smith, an executive at a mattress supply company, responded to requests for comment.

It is “outrageous” that elected officials would exploit the system while many of their constituents struggle to afford even basic health insurance, said Maura Collinsgru, director of policy and advocacy at New Jersey Citizen Action.
