Snow Emergency Coming… please be prepared.   Residents that have not done so already, please sign up for Nixle which is an emergency notification system used by multiple agencies to distribute information to local and county residents.  You can choose to receive messages through text and/or e-mail.  Please go to https://www.nixle.com/ to find out how to sign up.   Additionally, residents are encouraged to sign up for notifications directly from the Township. Go to www.ourclark.com/notifyme   Users are asked to submit emails/phone numbers and then select “News flashes” at the bottom of the list along with any other alerts they would like to receive from the Township. This will provide you the latest news and updates directly from town hall. This will provide you the latest news and updates directly from town hall.   The Township is asking that all vehicles be removed from the street to assist the Department of Public Works with snow plowing.  Please go to https://ecode360.com/13984017 to see the list of streets on snow emergency routes and are required by ordinance to remove all vehicles.  Coldevin Road was inadvertently left off of the list, but parking is prohibited on this street as well.   Mayor Bonaccorso is asking resident cooperation in moving all cars from all roadways to allow crews to do the best job they can cleaning streets for all residents. Those residents with more cars then parking available on their property, can park extra cars at the tennis courts by the Clark Recreation Center during the storm so they'll be off the streets.   Residents are reminded they should not shovel or blow snow back into the street with snow blowers.  This is not only dangerous, but a violation of town ordinance.   Basketball hoops, other sporting equipment and any other personal property in the streets is also prohibited and should be removed prior to the snowstorm.   Your cooperation will help us achieve cleaner and safer streets during and after the storm.
